WORK DONE BY R IN 1 DAY = R
P + Q = 1/8 —(1)
Q + R= 1/12 —(2)
P+ Q+ R = 1/6 —(3)
(3) – (2) => P = 1/6 – 1/12 = 1/12
(3) – (1) => R = 1/6 – 1/8 = 1/24
P + R = 1/12 + 1/24 = 3/24 = 1/8
=> P AND R WILL FINISH THE WORK IN 8 DAYS
