C
Plants, animals, microbes, weather, soil and water all are the components of an ecosystem. The ecosystem includes all the living things or the biotic components in a given area and their interaction with each other, and also with the non-living or abiotic components like weather, soil, water and atmosphere.
:
An increase in greenhouse gases, particularly CO2, is responsible for global warming, which is ultimately the cause of climate change.
:

Wildlife sanctuary provides protection to wildlife species from hunting, predation, competition or poaching. It is a heavily guarded area or a geographic territory, within which wildlife is protected in its natural habitat.

There was a drastic reduction in the tiger population due to habitat destruction and excessive hunting. Thus, it became an endangered species which was on the verge of extinction.
To counter this situation, Project Tiger was launched in 1973 by the Government of India for conservation of tiger. The project aims at ensuring a viable population of Bengal tigers in their natural habitats and also to protect them from extinction. The main aim of this project was to limit factors that leads to reduction of tiger habitats.

Large volcanic eruptions give out hot magma, mixture of gases, ash, etc. which can spread and cover large areas of land. It can cause death of all living organisms thriving in that area. Scientists believe that such a huge volcanic eruption can be one of the causes for the mass extinctions which occurred on Earth.
:
A
In any national park, the animals and plants are aimed to be conserved in their natural habitat so for that the wild animals are not kept in captivity. Hence, tourists watch them through a well-protected vehicle for their own safety.

Biodiversity equilibrium means to maintain a balance between the variety and variability of life on Earth which gets influenced by deforestation. Deforestation is a major cause which leads to the change in soil properties. Fewer trees result in more soil erosion. Removal of the top layer of the soil exposes the lower, hard and rocky layers. This soil has less humus and is less fertile. Gradually the fertile land gets converted into deserts. It is called desertification. It also leads to a decrease in the water-holding capacity of the soil. The movement of water from the soil surface into the ground is reduced. So, there are floods.
:
B
A species is a group of similar organisms which can interbreed and produce fertile offsprings. A mule is the result of a cross between a male donkey and a female horse. Most mules are sterile. Hence, mule is not a species.
