a)Total numbers of cars soldin2002-2003 =(6 + 12 + 5 + 16 + 7) × 1000 = 46000
b)Total saleof Maruti over three years = (5 + 8 +15) ×1000 = 28000
c)Total saleof GM over three years = (12 + 17 + 17) × 1000 = 46000
Hence, the difference between the salesof GM and Maruti = (46000 - 28000) =18000
