Object distance,

u = - 30 c m

Imagedistance,

v = 15 c m

Let image size be

h_{i}

Magnification of a lens is given by:

m = \frac{v}{u} = \frac{h_{i}}{h_{o}}

\frac{+ 15}{- 30} = \frac{h_{i}}{4}

h_{i} = - 2 c m

Hence, image height is

2 c m

and negative sign shows that the image is inverted.
