Douglas is sitting to the left of Elena.If Andy interchanges his place with Douglas, Fred with Elena and Bob with Charles, then which of the following statements is true?

A . There are two persons sitting between Bob and Douglas.

B . Elena is sitting to the right of Fred.

C . Douglas and Charles are sitting opposite each other.

D . Fred is to the left of Andy.

E . Charles is to the left of Douglas.

Answer: Option C

As Bob is sitting between Charles and Elena and Douglas is sitting to the left of Elena. We get following arrangement.
Andy is opposite Bob. Therefore, the final arrangement is as follows.

Douglas and Charles are sitting opposite each other is true.
