C) if the data either in statement I alone or in statement II alone are sufficient to answer
the question.
D) if the data even in both statements I and II together are not sufficient to answer the question.
E) if the data in both statements 1 and II together are necessary to answer the question.
If the first day of a month is Thursday, how many days were there in that month? Statements: I. The fourth Sunday happened to be on 25th. II. The last day of the month was the fifth Saturday of that month.
Options:
A .  Option A
B .  Option B
C .  Option C
D .  Option D
E .  Option E
Answer: Option B
 -  (I) gives no additional information; it may be calculate from the statement itself. (II) leads us to an answer. Thursday is 1st day (given in the statement). So first Saturday will be the 3rd day And 5th Saturday = 3 + 4 × 7 = 31 st day. Since this the last day, there were 3 1 days in the month.
