A .  36 kmph
B .  45 kmph
C .  48 kmph

Answer: Option C
 -  Speed on return trip = 150% of 40 = 60 kmph
Average speed =   2 x 40 x 60 40 + 60  km/hr       = 4800 100  km/hr = 48 km/hr.
