Barindra Ghosh (1880-1959) was one of the most prominent leaders of the Indian national movement and the first editor of the Yogantar, a Bengali monthly magazine. He was a member of the Anushilan Samiti, a secret revolutionary organization and was involved in the revolutionary activities against the British Raj. He was a close associate of revolutionaries such as Jatindra Nath Mukherjee, Bipin Chandra Pal, Ullaskar Dutt, Aurobindo Ghosh and Shyamji Krishnavarma.

Barindra Ghosh was born in 1880 in Calcutta. He was the youngest brother of Aurobindo Ghosh and the son of Krishna Dhan Ghosh and Swarnalata Devi. Barindra was inspired by his elder brother Aurobindo's revolutionary activities and soon joined the Anushilan Samiti. He was involved in several revolutionary activities such as the Alipore Bomb Case, the Barindra Kumar Ghosh Conspiracy Case and the Lahore Conspiracy Case.

In 1906, Barindra Ghosh started the Yogantar, a monthly magazine to propagate revolutionary ideas. The magazine was published from Calcutta and was distributed throughout India. The magazine was a platform for revolutionary ideas and provided a voice to the revolutionaries. The articles in the magazine were written by Barindra and other prominent revolutionaries such as Jatindra Nath Mukherjee, Bipin Chandra Pal, Ullaskar Dutt and Aurobindo Ghosh.

Barindra Ghosh was an important member of the Indian national movement and played a crucial role in the struggle for India's freedom.
