Ornithorhynchus (platypus)is an egg-laying mammal. Cloaca is a common chamber into which the alimentary, reproductive and urinary tracts open, in amphibians and some reptiles. Rat is however, a mammal, and does not possess a cloaca. Amphibian skin is smooth and moist and is devoid of scales. Feathers are typical of birds. Bat is a mammal, and is devoid of feathers on its body.
