B . 5 x 3 < 7 ÷ 8+ 4 x 1

C . 5 > 2 + 2 = 10 < 4 x 8

D . 3x 2 < 4 ÷ 16 > 2 + 4

Using the proper notations in (c),
we get the statement as:
5 x 2 ÷ 2 < 10 - 4 + 8
or 5 x 1< 18 - 4
or 5 < 14,
which is true.
