ABCD Is A Parallelogram In Which ∠DCB And ∠ABC Are In Ra...

∠ D C B + ∠ A B C = 180^{\circ}

[Adjacent angles of a parallelogram are supplementary]

\Rightarrow 2 t + 7 t = 180^{\circ}

[

∵ ∠ D C B

and

∠ A B C

are in ratio 2:7]

\Rightarrow t = 20^{\circ}

∴ ∠ D C B = 2 t = 2 \times 20^{\circ} = 40^{\circ}

and

∠ A B C = 7 t = 7 \times 20^{\circ} = 140^{\circ}

Now,

∠ D A B = ∠ D C B = 40^{\circ}

[Opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal]

∠ D A B + ∠ A D B + ∠ A B D = 180^{\circ}

[Sum of the angles of a triangle]

\Rightarrow 40^{\circ} + ∠ A D B + ∠ A B D = 180^{\circ}

\Rightarrow ∠ A D B + ∠ A B D = 140^{\circ}
