A Chalukya inscription is dated in the year 556 of the Saka era. It’s equivalent to 478 AD. This undated inscription belongs to the reign of the Chalukyas king Vijayaditya Satyasraya. It registers the grant of 20 matters of red soil, a matter of wetland, and 2 matters of the garden land total rear by Vikramaditya, the uncle of Banarja when the latter was ruling Turamaravishaya as the king’s feudatory.
It also states that Vikramaditya had the birudas Taruna-Vasantan and Samanta-kesari and that he was ruling Ayiradi. The inscription was written by Singutti.
