Question
The speeds of A and B are in the ratio 3: 4. A takes 20 minutes more than B to reach a destination. In what time does A reach the destination?
Options:
A .  1 1/3 Hours
B .  2 hours
C .  1 2/3 Hours
D .  2 2/3 Hours
Answer: Option A

Let the time taken by A be x hours
The time taken by B =(x-20/60)hrs = (x-1/3)hrs
Ratio of speeds = Inverse ratio of time taken
Therefore 3: 4 =(x-1/3) : x
=>  The Speeds Of A And B Are In The Ratio 3: 4. A Takes 20 Min...
=> 12x -4 =9x
=> 3x =4
=> X=4/3 hrs.
X=1 1/3 hours.
Required time = 1 1/3 hrs
