Answer: Option D

Let the original radius and height of the cone be r and h respectively .

Then , new radius =  2 r. New height 2h.

`:.`    New  volume/Original  volume

          = `(1/3 xx pi xx (2r)^2 xx 2h)/(1/3 xx pi xx r^2 xx h) = 8/1`
