Options:
A .   Sucker and Bulbil
B .   Bulb and Stolon
C .   Tuber and Bulb
D .   Sucker and Bulb
Answer: Option D
:
D

Chrysanthemums are propagated through suckers. Suckers are adventitious buds that develop from roots, and give rise to new plants. Onions however are propagated through bulbs, which are underground stem modifications. Stolons are creeping horizontal plant stems or runner that takes root at points along its length to form new plants and tubers are also stem modifications that give rise to buds. Bulbil is a miniature clone of the parent plant, growing from a bud at the base of each flower.
