If $∠$ B = $50^{\circ}$ , $∠$ ACD = $120^{\circ}$ , then the value of $∠$ A (in degrees) is .

:

By Exterior Angle property,
$∠$ ACD = $∠$ A + $∠$ B
$∴ ∠$ A = $∠$ ACD - $∠$ B
= $120^{\circ}$ - $50^{\circ}$
= $70^{\circ}$
