The joint exercise DRUZBA 2017 between special forces of Pakistan and Russia Armies started in Minralney Vody, Russia. Pakistan and Russia are holding two-week long joint military drill focusing on counter-terrorism operations to enhance military ties between the two countries. The joint exercise will enhance and further strengthen military ties between the two countries and share Pakistan Army's experience in the war against terrorism.

The Indian Army has organized Operation Sadbhavana for National Integration. These operations are carried out by Indian Army in Jammu & Kashmir and North East states respectively. It has been organized on 21st of Sept. 2017. The Sadbhavana tour was organised by the 109 Infantry Brigade of the Indian Army. Its main aim is to develop trust among and reignite the minds of youth towards national integration.

INS Shakti (A57) is a Deepak-class fleet tanker in current Indian Navy service. She was built by Fincantieri, an Italian shipbuilding company
based in Trieste.

INS Godavari (F20) is the lead ship of her class of guided-missile frigates of the Indian Navy. She was commissioned on 10 December 1983 built by Mazagon Dock Limited in Mumbai.
