India overtook China to emerge as the world's biggest market for two-wheelers. A total of 17.7 million two-wheelers were sold last year whereas China achieved 16.8 million of two - wheelers.
World's largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp was adjudged the 'Indian MNC of the year' by All India Management Association. Hero MotoCorp sold more than 6.6 million two-wheelers in FY'17, is the only Indian two-wheeler company to have a manufacturing facility in Latin America.

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) became the first Indian company to cross Rs 6 trillion market capitalization after its shares surged over 75% so far this year and hit a fresh lifetime high. Currently, its market cap is at Rs 6.02 trillion. The recent rally in the stock was due to tariff hike by its telecom arm Reliance Jio which, analysts expect, will improve the company s profitability. Jio increased its tariff by 15% for its popular 84-day plan at Rs 459, under which subscribers get 1GB 4G data at high speed per day.
Indian software company, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has signed a pact with the National University in the Philippines to launch a comprehensive training programme aimed at enhancing the skills of university graduates for the job market. Under this scheme, 5000 students of National University, Philippines will have access to digital courses, updated curriculum, faculty training, workshops and internships which will train them to acquire skills required in Information Technology (IT) and ITeS (IT Enabled Services) sector.

Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communications (RCom) announced that it has received the final approval on its merger with Sistema from the Department of Telecommunication (DoT). On account of this deal, RCom will gain nearly two million customers and additional annual revenues of around Rs.700 crore. Spectrum portfolio of RCom will be enhanced by 30 MHz in the 800 MHz band, which is useful for 4G services. Validity
of RCom's spectrum portfolio (valid up to 2021) will also be extended as Sistema has spectrum in eight circles - Delhi, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu,
Karnataka, Kerala, Kolkata, UP-West and West Bengal - with validity up to 2033.
