Question
If '+’ means subtraction, ‘÷’ means addition, ‘-‘ means multiplication and '×' means division, then which of the following equation is correct?
Options:
A .  8 ÷ 44 – 5 + 25 = 203
B .  9 ÷ 64 - 2 × 6 = 54
C .  56 + 12 × 34 – 12 = 102
D .  112 × 44 – 12 + 10 = 46
Answer: Option A
Answer: (a)
8 ÷  44 - 5 + 25 = 203
from the question by changing the symbols, we get
⇒ 8 + 44 × 5 - 25 = 203 (using VBODMAS rule)
⇒ 8 + 220 - 25 = 203
⇒ 228 - 25 = 203
⇒ 203 = 203
⇒ LHS = RHS.
Therefore the option (a) is correct.
