Answer: Option C

Let the numbers be `x` and y.

Then, 7.5% of `x` = 12.5% of y `hArr x = 125/75 x = 5/3 y`.

Now, `x - y` = 1660 `rArr 5/3y - y = 1660 rArr 2/3 y = 1660 rArr y = ((1660 xx 3)/(2))` = 2490.

`:.` one number = 2490, second number= `5/3 y` = 4150.
