number . What was  the original number ?

Answer: Option A

Let the original number be `x`

Final number obtained = 110% of  (90%  of `x`) =  `(110/100 xx 90/100 xx x)` =  `99/100 x`

`:.`  `x - 99/100x =  10  hArr 1/100 x = 10  hArr  x =  10 xx 100` =  1000.
