Answer: (d)Let the required number be x. As given, $x × 5/4$ - $x × 5/14$ = 25$5x(1/4 – 1/14)$ = 25$5x({7 – 2}/28)$ = 25⇒ $5x × 5/28$ = 25x = ${25×28}/{5×5}$ = 28
