Square root part 3

Vedic math trick to find the Square of number with and without decimal whose last digit is '5' ?

Number without decimal :

Find square root '175'

STEP 1 :

First we will split the given square root from the last digit which is '5'.
like this :

VALUE ONE : 17 and VALUE TWO : 5

STEP 2 :

Now we will take VALUE ONE and Multiply it with its successor value like given below:

VALUE ONE : 17 and SUCCESSOR VALUE : 18
Multiply both the value : 306

STEP 3 :

Now we will take VALUE TWO and Multiply it with '5':
Then we will get VALUE TWO : 25

Now concatinate or join both values and we will get the final value = 30625

Number with decimal :

Find square root '17.5'

STEP 4 :

Now we have to put decimal in the result.
first we have to count in wchich place the decimal is present in the given Question and we have to double the decimal place value to put decimal in the position of result.

example :-
if we take 12.1 the position of the digit is in between the unit and the hundred place, so after calculating it the result will be 146.41

so the final value with decimal will be = 306.25
