Eligibility criteria of 'CUET PG Exam 2023'

The Central University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) offers a Postgraduate (PG) Engineering Program leading to the award of Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in various disciplines. The admission to the PG program is based on the performance in the CUET PG Entrance Examination (CUET PGEE). 1. The candidate must have passed the bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

2. Candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology through a lateral entry scheme are also eligible to apply for the CUET PGEE.

3. Candidates who have passed their bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology from an institution located outside India must have obtained an equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) before applying for the examination.

4. Students who have done a diploma in engineering or technology after completing their 10+2 are also eligible to apply, provided they have obtained at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam.

5. Candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology through distance learning are also eligible to apply for the CUET PGEE, provided they have obtained an equivalency certificate from the Distance Education Bureau (DEB).

6. Candidates belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) must have obtained at least 45% marks in the qualifying exam in order to be eligible to apply for the CUET PGEE.

7. Candidates who are currently pursuing their bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology are also eligible to apply, provided they have completed all the subjects of their course and submitted their thesis before the last date of submitting the application form for the CUET PGEE.

8. Candidates who have passed the bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology through a part-time course are not eligible to apply for the CUET PGEE.

9. Candidates who have passed the bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology through the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode are also not eligible to apply for the CUET PGEE.

10. Candidates who have obtained their bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology more than five years ago are not eligible to apply for the CUET PGEE.

11. Candidates who have failed in the qualifying exam or have not obtained the minimum required marks in the qualifying exam are not eligible to apply for the CUET PGEE.
